The Boathouse is a stunning self catering accommodation nestled on the shores of the Sound of Raasay. The property is very well equipped and comprises of lounge, semi open plan kitchen, utility room, 3 bedrooms (2 en suite) consisting of two king double rooms and one twin room, bathroom and upper viewing lounge. The Boathouse has regular visits from Otters and Seals and an incredible variety of sea birds. The spectacular Cuillin mountains are just a few miles away and our property is also located a short drive from several popular island restaurants.

The Boathouse also offers private parking to guests and the property is WIFI internet access throughout. Our self catering accommodation in Sconser has everything you will require for your visit to the Isle of Skye. Facilities include a washer and dryer, underfloor heating with radiators, parking, a hair dryer, smart TV and coffee machine. Please note we do not accept pets at The Boathouse. The Boathouse sits on the very edge of Loch Sligachan with stunning extensive views across to the Island of Raasay, the Old Man of Storr, The Trotternish Ridge, the mainland & more. It is the ideal tranquil holiday base (centrally located) whether it be for pure relaxation or activity filled days...the Island is yours to explore.

Our self catering accommodation lies 12 miles from both of the main towns on the island, Portree and Broadford so is centrally located to see all the sights you may want to see. The Isle of Skye Golf course is a 5 minute walk away from the house, you can also hire clubs here.

Our property has regular visits from Otters and Seals and an incredible variety of sea birds. Binoculars and a Telescope are provided to allow you to enjoy the most of the local views and wildlife. The spectacular Cuillin mountains are just a few miles away with waterfall walks with mountain backdrops.
